Don't Touch Me - Jeannie Seely Cover by Jeff Cooper

Don't Touch Me was written especially for Jeannie Seely by Hank Cochran. He wrote it in her dressing room in New York when she was still working for Porter Wagner. She was not real well known to the general public at the time but the song sent her on the road for a number one hit and a grammy. Since her hit many others have done this song but Jeannies is the one I remember best as I'm sure most others do. It's a beautiful haunting song that has made it's mark in the music world both in the past and for many years to come. I thought about adding other instruments but the fact is, the song really sounds great on just the guitat or piano, so, other then adding a bass line, it's just me and my Martin. I'm just an amateur bozo covering a great song but I hope ya'all like it. I did hear an odd sound when I finished rendering the video that sound like pitch correction, but, I never use that so in back tracking I found it was an effect I used on the bass that caused it. I didn't want to redo the whole thing so I just left it as is, some may hear it while others may not. Thanks For Watching
